Abstract

This project is started to get more information about how workers choose their working hours, what factors influence that choice and how flexible working hours are used as a possibility to avoid traffic congestion. Starting earlier a part of the workers will no longer travel during the pea hours. This effect will be greater in using the maximal range in acceptable times for start and finish of the work. The realised effects of changing times will motivate workers to change. A greater variety of measures has to be discussed than only flexible working hours.
