Abstract

Since 2001 sales of bicycles have outsold motor vehicles (with the exclusion of heay vehicles) in Australia. The increase in cycling has been coupled with a strategic focus on providing sustainable cities, and created the need for increased bicycle networks. This paper offers an overview of the planning and implementation of cycle infrastructure. (a).
