Abstract
By building on the city of Cologne's extensive activities in the field traffic management, a system environment will be designed and implemented, which, in the future, will allow a new kind of task division between public authorities and private partners in the region. A special system architecture will be implemented for the technical realisation of this concept, whose technical core is formed by the "Stadtinfoserver". It forms the central interface between the city of Cologne's traffic management activities and her private partners both technically and organisationally. These partners' new mobility services can access the data available here, which will compliment the city of Cologne's current service.
