Staging provisions of national highway standards.

Abstract

As a result of experience in implementing the National Highway System, the Commonwealth has recognised that for some sections of the system a case could be argued that the National Highway Design Standards should be regarded as ultimate goals which may not necessarily be warranted in the short- term for economic or financial reasons.
