Abstract
An extensive automotive test program was conducted to define the state -of -the-art of vehicle handling for application to the ESV development program. The methodology employed to satisfy the program objectives and the summary results are discussed. Areas of performance covered include braking, acceleration /power, steering, and general handling. Accident avoidance specifications are recommended for the ESV Family Sedan.
