Abstract

Exploratory tests were carried out to identify the sorts of protection small-car occupants can expect in head- on collisions, and to determine whet Her that protection is comparable to what large-car occupants can expect under the same crash circumstances. Test results show the discrepancy between crash protection afforded by smaller cars and that offered by larger, family sedan-type cars.
