Abstract

The statistical evaluation of 396 fatal traffic accidents was done according to age, sex, place and time of accident, categories of road users, objects of collision, and causes of death. Approximately 10% of the persons injured in an accident continued to live for more than 72 hours. In 10% of the cases an influence of alcohol could be stated. Stricter measures in the control of delinquency in street-traffic are advocated.
