Abstract

Transportation Research Record: Journal of the Transportation Research Board, No. 2061 includes 8 papers that explore analysis of naturalistic driving data, adjustment for maximum likelihood estimate of negative binomial dispersion parameter, nonparametric Bayesian estimation of freeway capacity distribution, and tree-based regression models. This issue of the TRR also examines crash frequency analysis with generalized additive models, estimation of confidence intervals of crash prediction models, road crash frequency analysis with spatial models, and cross-correlation analysis and multivariate prediction of spatial time series of freeway traffic speeds.
