Abstract
Compiled under the supervision of the Traffic Bureau of the National Police Agency of Japan, this statistical report contains data which was largely prepared through their computer system. 51 statistical tables examine accidents, casualties,and fatalities for both children and adults, focussing predominently on the period 1987-1988, as well as trends, violations, regulations, driver licensing and road types and locations derived from data as early as 1946.
