Abstract

The prototype SID-IIs advanced side impact dummy, designed to assist the Occupant Safety Research Partnership's efforts at harmonization, is currently undergoing extensive testing and is being modified as required before worldwide sales of the beta-prototype begins. This paper summarizes the testing since the 1995 Stapp Conference paper on the dummy's technical specifications. (A)
