Abstract

ZOOM Information Systems was awarded several grants from the State of Indiana as part of a US$10MM+ project to create an Automated Real-Time Transportation Infrastructure Information System (ARTIIS). ARTIIS is a universalchannel and standard framework for the collection, analysis and distribution of real-time transportation information and a standard platform for application development. This paper describes the results of the top-level ARTIIS system architecture effort and the status of the ongoing follow-on grant project. Applicability to USDOT initiatives such as VII and Clarus are explored as well as the results of initial tests with the City of Fort Wayne, Indiana. For the covering abstract see E134653.
