Abstract

Analysis of accident data shows that riding a motorcycle is generally more dangerous than driving a car. This information is hardly startling and it would be difficult to find anybody in New South Wales, who would disagree with it. This report explores measures which can have some impact on the road toll for motorcyclists. Serious starting point is the high rate of accidents and injuries for learner riders.
