Abstract

The system dealt with is mechanically built up by the three components tractor (truck), dolly and the body of the trailer. In practical operation different loading situations, e.g. rigid or liquid load, different freight distributions, and varied driving occur. The numerical data determined for a typical system under different loading conditions show the strong influence of the specific type of loading, e.g. rigid or liquid, maximum load or unloaded and load distribution, upon the mechanical system behaviour.
