This paper introduces the equation of a steering torque taking especially account of the camber torque and the section radius of tyre. The equation is more simplified by introducing the angle of arctangent of the lateral and the gravitational accelerations in a turn. Calculations agreed fairly well with results of the full-scale test on different turn radii. Using the equation, influences of turn radius, tyre properties, additional angles due to the rider 's roll and front wheel alignments to the steering torque are discussed.
