Abstract

By means of interviews the interest of Austrian drivers in road-traffic, problems of traffic-safety, the practical as well as the valuation of individual traffic compared to public traffic-means were investigated. The results are discussed with respect to a more effective application of mass-media communication and other measures aimed to influence people's behaviour in road traffic. Additional, the influence of automobile-propaganda, was investigated.
