Abstract

The most important measures in strategies for relieving the environment of pollution caused by goods traffic in towns are those aimed at a dispatch of goods traffic compatible with town life. This can be achieved through a guiding concept for motor lorries. Specific problem situations arising from goods traffic in towns, and recommended measures contained in a guiding concept for motor lorries are given in two representative cases.
