Abstract

The use made of large service area shared by about 30 shops and offices was studied. Two features of the service area reduced its effectiveness, the inclusion of the centrally-placed garage block and the use of the area by private cars belonging to staff employed in the premises served by the area and to others having no business in any of these premises.
