The strengthening of concrete beams by bonded steel plates.

Abstract

It may sometime be necessary to strengthen existing concrete bridges. One method is that of bonding steel reinforcing plates to the structure with epoxy resin. To study the use of this method for strengthening beams in tests have been made and the results are presented.
