This paper discusses a research project about the relationship between the supply of infrastructure and economic development, the 'STRUWIN' project. The main hypothesis is that the supply of new infrastructure stimulates the economic growth on different levels. In the 'STRUWIN' project no clear results to support the hypothesis on regional or national level were found, only some effects on the local level.
