Advanced Public Transportation System-APTS is one of the important parts of Intelligent Transportation Systems-ITS that is a front research field of transportation all over the world. APTS is an information system in which all sorts of transportation information are collected, transferred, progressed and applied finally. So the fundamental data of transportation information is the basis of the system. But the static information and dynamic information in the system including their relations are complicated. So how to get the accurate info from them has become a new direction of research. Based on the analysis of information subsystem of APTS, this paper gives a feasible solution, which is Data fusion, also called information fusion. Data fusion is an information progress procedure in which the data from multi-source is automatically analyzed and integrated by some rules to get the needed evaluation and decision.
