Abstract

The desire to describe a continuous road as a sequential queueing mechanism is strong. Davidson proposed a simple queueing model to represent this situation. The convenience of this model generated wider applications in interrupted roads, for example, urban roads. The effects of environment, width, signals and crossings on the parameters were studied. Some values of the parameters are reported.
