Study of demand for wheelchair-accessible bus service.

Abstract

Recent years have seen a substantial growth in the provision of bus services which are able to carry disabled persons, including those who are wheelchair-bound. The purpose of this study is to look more closely at the users of this types of services, in particular to try and place the use made of the services within the context of the total travel needs of disabled people.
