A study to determine the relationship between vehicle defects and crashes.

Abstract

999 accidents are investigated immediately after their occurrence. From all main causes human factors were 85%, environmental factors were 18% and vehicular factors were 6%. The study was conducted to quantify the relative roles of human, environmental and vehicular deficiencies in causing automobile accidents.
