Abstract

Crashes involving vehicle rollover are one of the leading causes of death in single-vehicle crashes. The objective of this study is to identify distinctive roadway characteristics at locations in Georgia where fatal rollover crashes occurred and to develop guidelines for the reduction or elimination of such crashes by modifying roadway and/or roadside features.
