Essential findings from an explorative study of the individual series of journeys are reported. The objective of the study was to develop an interpretation of the transportation process that differs from current transportation study techniques by taking into account the linkage of journeys on the individual level. It is concluded with the recommendations of methodological importance, concerned with transportation survey design, integrated interpretation procedure and possible applications to developing an adequate model.
