Abstract

The Victorian Study of Single Vehicle Rural Accidents was carried out between June 1987 and January 1989. The aim of this report is to look at the road design and roadside factors involved in the accidents investigated. The results of the study showed that unsealed shoulders, narrow lanes and low skid resistance were associated with increased accident risk. For Volume I see B 28900.
