Abstract

The potential of effective drugs which safety counteract normal fatigue and/or restore normal psychological functions in the elderly or other individuals suffering from reversible cerebral disorder is, simply stated, enormous. Yet this potential has scarcely begun to be realized and the search for truly effective nootropes continues at this time. Here Piracetam, a nootrope widely used in Europe, is studied just as UCB 6474 and UCB C 315.
