Abstract
By way of a literature study and an experts questionnaire a survey was made about what is presently known on straight lane stability and on- center feel of cars. In accordance to definitions of straight lane stability and on- center feel measurement procedures i.e. a series of driving tests is suggested, which can be used to quantify this type of vehicle characteristics. Literature gives very few data on criteria which can be used to evaluate these charac- teristics.
