Abstract
The attached list of suggested topics for university graduate theses and dissertations in highway safety and related fields was developed from ideas submitted by the staff of the National Highway Safety Bureau. The topics have been categorized according to their relevance to major academic disciplines. Some topics area presented as questions, while others are presented in the form of narrative statements describing a problem area.
