Suicide and self-destruction in automobile accidents : a psycho-analytic study.

Abstract

The importance of psychological factors in automobile accidents is examined. The purpose of the research is to study the question of whether suicide or suicide-like factors were present to an increased degree in drivers who had involved their cars in accidents. In addition a number of other hypothesis referring to psychological self-destructive features in drivers are developed.
