Abstract

The report presents the story of a portion of the John C. Lodge freeway in Detroit and the motorists thereon that were subjected to one of the most intensive traffic research. With TV surveillance, extensive research was conducted on freeway traffic characteristics, driver behaviour, and corridor operations and safety.
