Abstract
This report contains a summary of the past ten years work on vehicular speed regulation conducted at the University of Illinois. A great deal of useful and up-to-date information has been gathered during the course of the study. This report discusses project results covering such topics as: various statistical techniques of data collection and analysis developed by the project personnel; the physical and environmental factor influencing vehicular speed; an economic evaluation of speed; evaluations of the factor-influencing speed; and the estimation of spot speeds.
