Surface colouration, lettering and referential dimension of traffic marker perception.

Abstract

5 Experimental traffic markers differentiated with respect to colouration and lettering were each presented at 7 angles of orientation randomly repeated 5 times. 5 Groups gave judgments of shape and slant. Signalling aspects of the marker produced significant differences upon apparent shape.
