Abstract
The National Transport Commission (NTC) is assessing the effectiveness and the impact of its major national reforms. This report of a survey of the awareness and attitudes of heavy vehicle operators, and key off road parties such as freight operators and major consignors to compliance with on-road safety requirements, provides data that can be used as baseline data for future reviews of the effectiveness of these requirements and road transport national compliance and enforcement reforms.
