Abstract

In December 1983, a survey -was conducted of 620 Victorian adults who did driver a motor vehicle, and did drink alcohol. Questions were asked about their drinking and drink-driving in the week prior to the administration of the survey, and their BAC at the time they drove was calculated. Data are presented on the circumstances that led to driving with a BAC exceeding 0.5 o/oo, and on the knowledge and attitudes to drink driving of the sample surveyed.
