Abstract

This article describes a method by which the movements of the wheel in contact with the road surface are related to the movements of the vehicle body. The analysis is supported by experimental evidence intended to provide a working tool, thereby showing how minor changes in suspension layout will affect the parameters and produce data which in turn can be applied in ride and handling simulations.
