Abstract

This issue consists of 15 papers that explore evaluation of sustainable transportation, sustainability assessments by transportation agencies, quantifying the economic domain of transportation sustainability, sustainable transportation planning, sustainable road transport in the European Union, measuring the performance of livability programs, environmental impacts in the transport sector, and introduction of electric vehicles to Ireland. It also examines congestion threshold speeds, access of low-socioeconomic-status households to destinations in Australian cities, new form of spatial mismatch, accessibility-based factors of travel odds, integrated analysis of economic impacts of bypasses on communities, and spatial panel econometric analysis of economic impacts of bypasses.
