Abstract

The R.R.L. is carrying out research into the manufacture of synthetic aggregates with an exceptional resistance to polishing by traffic. This reports describes the part of this research which has been directed into the manufacture of a class of gritty aggregates which owe their polishing resistance to the differential of hard grit particles dispersed in a softer matrix.
