Abstract

The need for a more holistic multifactorial and multidisciplinary approach is stressed, implying an epidemiological and a so-called system approach, broadening and deepening at the same time the accident research into behaviour-research. Traffic with its various components is as well understood as a system as is the human organism in itself. Differentiation is made between the general mental capability and the personality.
