Abstract
The cause of accidents can be determined from the statistics made on the hand of the recordings by the police. By an analysis of these statistics focal points in accident causes are emphasized. But most analyses are two- dimensional and all variables are mostly not available. The log- linear model is used in three tests: car to car collision, car- pedestrian collisions, and accidents in which one car is involved.
