Abstract

In the first part of this paper the benefit of this system in bus traffic regulations is pointed out. In the second part an analysis of the principle of SECAMA is given and a description is given of the most important functions such as tele-transmission, bus location, passenger load counting, visualization of bus position on a display, and man-machine dialogue. In the third part statistical data treatments which will allow to evaluate system performances are described.
