Abstract

This report reviews the increasing use of computers in telecommunications, and discusses the importance of such technology in reducing road accidents, congestion and convenience. The use made of communication was defined, measured and catalogued, so that it is possible to summarize the communications associated with any area, locale, time, period, method of operation or organization. A communication model was developed to evaluated usage and performance. Volume II presents supplementary material to the final report and contains activities found in each sub-function, and computer printouts of sub-function-information exchanges.
