Abstract

The general approach and techniques of a project to establish the main dimensions of a future town is described. Conclusions are drawn concerning the transport factors of particular importance in the growth of a new town, some of the implications for development, and the use of systems analysis in arriving at and demonstrating the relative significance of various planning criteria.
