Abstract

This proceedings contains seven papers presented at the conference which considers how best to meet challenging new targets for reducing the number of people killed or seriously injured on roads in the UK. The government recognises that a partnership approach at European, national and local levels is required to achieve this. Rigorous monitoring of progress towards achieving casualty reduction targets is considered important. For abstracts of the papers see C 20605 - C 20611 (ITRD E111779 - E111785).
