Abstract

Implemented in 1983 by the interministerial committee for road safety. The programme Reagir (actions by means of survey of serious road accidents and by initiatives to remedy them) is a programme of measures, based on technical surveys of all fatal or very serious accidents, with the aim of investigating the circumstances of those accidents. Every enquiry is the object of a report involving a detailed analysis of the accident, a list of factors and a list of corresponding proposals. The overall data are collected at national level but it can be accessed and exploited at every level.
