Abstract

A wide variety of dissemination techniques exists and there is a need to plan carefully the dissemination of new ideas. A specific dissemination plan should be developed for research results which considers cost, adaptability, immediacy, rigor and audience. In general, personal communications and informal material will work better than formal technical reports although each may be required as part of an overall dissemination package.
