Abstract

Sixty-four subjects participated in an experiment testing the hypothesis of a temporally determined auditory system and a spatially determined visual system. The experiment involved both an immediate recall and a final recognition phase. Results confirmed this hypothesis and also supported a hypothesis of a more capacious auditory system.
