A Test of Goodness of Fit.

Abstract

For designing a test of goodness of fit we distinguish two cases: either the order in the space of the random variable is physically important or not. The stature of a set of men is an example of the first case, the throw of a die one of the second. The corresponding random variables will be called (physically) ordered or non-ordered.
