A test method for the prediction of seat transmissibility.

Abstract

It is described how the transmissibility of a seat can be predicted from measurements of the seat dynamics obtained without a person sitting on the seat. Reasons for possible discrepancies when using the method are considered and it is shown that vibration magnitude is an important variable.
