Abstract

A short summary is given of the development in the use and testing of road marking paint since 1932. With increase in the mileage of sealed roads, the quantity of road marking paint use annually increased rapidly, and with faster and more traffic, the drying time of the paint became more important. New test methods are made for the laboratory as well as for the roads.
